No Connection
If your computer says there is no connection, the first step is to reboot all equipment, such as the DSL modem and any Routers used to split the connection or make it wireless.
If the message does not go away, you should check all cables and connections. If a Router is present, try plugging the computer directly into the DSL modem to isolate the issue. If the message goes away, it’s likely a Router issue; if it does not it’s likely to be an issue with the computer’s Ethernet Card.
