Configuring Outlook 2007 for SMTP Authentication

1. Click on the Tools menu and click on Account Settings.
2. In the Account Settings window, in the "E-mail" tab doubleclick on the name of the account.
3. This should open the Internet E-mail Settings window.
4. The incoming mail server is pop.dejazzd.com.
5. The outgoing mail server is smtp.dejazzd.com.
6. Click on the "More Settings" button.
7. This will open up anotherwindow, click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.
8. In the Outgoing Server tab check the box for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
9. Choose the option for "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
10. Click OK in this window.
11. Click Next in the "Change E-mail Account" window.
12. Click Finish and then click the Close button to close out of the settings.
