Personal Video Recorder (PVR)

PVR is a subscription Service. It allows you to record your favorite programs and view them as many times as you want, whenever you want. You can even record High-Dfinition TV without rentals, tapes, or returns.

Recording TV with PVR

To record the program you are currently watching, press the RECORD button on the remote.

Retrieving the PVR Recording

Press the button labeled RECORDED TV. Highlight Recordings, Press OK. Use the ARROW KEY to highlight the desired recording, Press OK. Select Play Recording, Press OK.

PVR Schedule

Press GUIDE. Select the program you want to schedule, Press OK. Select Schedule Event, Press OK. In the field labeled Freq the default setting is Single.
You can choose how frequently you would like to schedule PVR to record by doing the following:
• Navigate the ARROW UP/DOWN until the Freq box is highlighted, Select OK
• ARROW UP\DOWN to select the frequency, your options are Everyday, Every M-F, Weekly.
• Highlight OK to enable your selection, Press OK.

Your PVR Options Menu

To view your PVR Selections, Press the RECORDED TV Button. You will need to highlight the following list of options to do the following:
• Recordings: To see a list of programs you have recorded.
• To Record: To see a list of programs you have scheduled to record.
• Schedule Event: To edit, highlight the item, Press OK and use the ARROW KEYS to change the settings. Highlight OK to end the edit. (See picture below)
• Record History: To see a listing of the current day’s recorded programs.
These cannot be deleted.
• Delete History: Deleting from Recordings sends it to the Deleted History.
This list cannot be deleted.

These buttons on your remote function like VCR controls. Plus, you have new PVR control features like Instant Replay and Record.
Replay: Rewinds in 10 second increments
Forward: Fast forwards in 26 second increments.

Note:: Whenever the PVR starts running out of the disk space it tries to clear out the oldest recordings. If the recordings are locked and the PVR is running out of space then it would cancel the recording. But if no recordings are locked then the oldest one is the first to get deleted.
