Webmail Over Quota

Have you ever received the "Your mailbox has exceeded your allowed quota" message?

Each D&E Jazzd email account comes standard with a 30MB limit. If this limit is exceeded, you will received the "Over Quota" or "High Water Mark" message. If you need more space then this for your email account, please contact us via email at support@dejazzd.com. You can purchase more space for $0.25 per MB, per month.

  1. Go to http://webmail.dejazzd.com or click on the link

  2. Enter your username followed by @dejazzd.com
  3. Enter your password and press Log in.
  4. After logging in you will enter in to your Inbox. Here you can read, reply or delete you e-mail messages.

  5. The Quota bar appears over the Inbox that displays the percentage used of the mailbox size.

  6. To delete messages to free up space click on the Manage Folders link on the left-hand side of the web mail page. This will provide a breakdown of the messages and space stored in each folder.

If the Trash folder has a button for Empty Trash this is usually the main cause of users exceeding their quota. When e-mail is deleted from the inbox in web mail it goes in the Trash folder. It will sit in the Trash folder for 14 days before it is permanently deleted. Click the Empty Trash button and confirm OK to “Permanently Remove All Message In Trash”.

Review the size of the other folders to determine if messages need to be deleted from those folders.
