TollGuard
TollGuard prevents your phone from being used to place unauthorized toll calls. Your personal identification number (PIN) must be entered in order to make toll calls (including 900 numbers, as well as direct-dial International numbers).

- Pick up the handset, and listen for the dial tone.
Use the normal direct-dialing procedures to place any call – local or long distance.
If the number you’ve dialed is long distance, you will hear a message instructing you to enter your PIN. Enter your PIN, and press #. Your call will then be completed.- If your PIN has not been correctly entered, a message will tell you to try again. If the PIN is not correctly entered on a second attempt, a recording will tell you that the phone line is toll restricted, and the call will be disconnected.
- Note: TollGuard does not allow you to unblock your toll restriction by using your PIN when you place an operator-assisted call. Operators will allow you to place calling card and collect calls only; they will not accept your PIN.
