D&E Communications is proud to announce Bert Kramer, Senior Vice President, Operations of D&E Communications has been named First Vice Chairman of the Berks County Workforce Investment Board. He will hold that office until 6/30/10 at which time he will assume the office of Chairman for a two year term. Bert has been a board member of the Workforce Investment Board since 1999.

The Berks County Workforce Investment Board's purpose is to identify the county's long term strategic workforce development needs and to oversee the distribution of Federal Workforce Investment Act funds.
