Lancaster County PA - September 11, 2008 - D&E Communications, Inc. (D&E) (Nasdaq: DECC) and LMA Systems Group Inc. (LMA) has announced a partnership to provide new training technologies through D&E's computer support and training service - Haywire.
The partnership will enable LMA to offer online e-learning and virtual training solutions to their customers using a web portal and web conferencing tools supplied by D&E. In addition to the Individual and business skills development already available through LMA the e-learning portal will add new learning opportunities like Desktop Applications and Technical Skills. Jeff Klunk, president of LMA Systems Group Inc., says: "We believe that the addition of this technology will allow us to serve our clients more effectively. For example, a client recently shared the challenge of providing quality training to field personnel on job sites in the tri-state area, when it would be extremely difficult to have these folks attend this much-needed training for the better part of a day.
