2-12-09 - D&E Communications Gives Back to Community Through PA EITC
Ephrata, PA - D&E Communications (D&E) (NASDAQ: DECC), a integrated communications provider in central and eastern Pennsylvania, recently provided $80,000 to over 20 educational organizations in Pennsylvania. The monetary contributions were provided as part of Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
Established in 2001, the EITC provides companies, such as D&E Communications, with tax benefits by allowing them to make contributions to designated non-profit scholarship or educational improvement organizations.
"D&E is pleased to be part of the process again this year," said Scott Burky, Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, "through this program we are able to provide support to many organizations in our communities".
